If your dog loves the water, there’s a pretty good reason to head to Kiwanis Park this weekend.
Dash & Splash 2026 is taking over Kiwanis Park Pool on Sunday, September 13, bringing hundreds of dogs and their owners together for one of the most unique events happening in Kitchener-Waterloo this September.
And yes, the dogs actually get to go in the pool.
What Is Dash & Splash?
Dash & Splash is an annual dog pool party supporting the Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo & Stratford Perth.
The event runs from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Kiwanis Park in Kitchener and gives local dogs a chance to swim, cool off and play while their owners connect with other dog lovers from around Waterloo Region.
There will also be food trucks, local vendors, raffles, games and family-friendly activities throughout the day.

The best part is that Dash & Splash isn't just an excuse to let your dog take over a swimming pool for the afternoon.
The event supports the Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo & Stratford Perth and the work it does for animals throughout our community.
So if you're looking for something different to do in Kitchener-Waterloo this weekend, especially if your dog would rather be in the pool than beside it, Dash & Splash is worth checking out.
